COVID-19 Crisis

09 April 2020

As the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) grows globally, it is clear we must all work together, and adapt to new ways of working, to meet this challenge.

At BDO Pakistan, our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our Staffs, Clients, Partners and other stakeholders and all the communities where we operate. We are a purpose business where we aim to do the right thing for all those connected to our operations – and this ethos also drives our strong culture of care and compassion, which is especially needed as we respond to this pandemic.

Our business is also resilient. We are working in partnership with our staffs, partners and other stakeholders to navigate this challenging environment.

Like in many industries, we have activated our team, whose primary focus is keeping our staff safe, our clients served and the business operating as normally as possible in the circumstances.  As the situation continues to evolve, we are actively monitoring and following the guidance provided by the local law.

We are implementing short- and medium-term measures to help protect our staffs, in line with official advice. This include remote working, temporary office closures, additional site cleaning, and other measures to help ensure our audit teams on sites are kept well and safe. We will carry out our work and all meetings with clients remotely. We have employed flexible working methods for several years now and we are fully prepared to perform our work remotely.

We offer our support and solidarity, working together in partnership to best manage this unprecedented situation.
