Muhammad Kamran is qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

 

Kamran joined BDO Ebrahim & Co, Chartered Accountants as Executive Director in January 2019 and was admitted to Partnership in 2020. He is responsible for overall operations of BDO Afghanistan branch.

 

Previously, Kamran has worked at Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder and Deloitte Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants at managerial positions, where he provided professional services to versatile industries. He has significant experience leading external audit, internal audit and controls reporting engagements within financial, aviation, banking, telecommunication and technology, development sector and oil & gas and energy sectors, where he is able to provide insights over both financial reporting, governance, and risk and compliance functions.

 

Kamran provides insights and value in his engagements with clients. His significant exposure with Boards and Audit Committees has provided him with an understanding of the strategic issues that entities encounter on a day-to-day basis. He thrives on providing services aimed at resolving the concerns of Directors in an approachable, pragmatic and commercial manner.

 

He has also experience in non-audit assignments i.e. Internal Audit, Salary Survey, Monitoring & Evaluation, Micro Capacity Assessment, Compilation, Review of Risk Management Framework, Controls optimization etc
